VISA REQUIREMENTS - ENTRY VISA

The entry visa is issued to persons who are going to the Republic of the Sudan for the purpose of Tourism, Business or Official Duties; whose stay would not exceed 60 days (Two months).
Extension of stay in Sudan will be done through the Immigration and Nationality Department at the Ministry of Interior in Khartoum.
Normal entry visas to Sudan are valid for single entry for two months from entering the Republic of the Sudan, but the Embassy also issues multiple entry visas on specific requests.

The visa fee for South African Passport holders and all other nationals is R665.00 except British and American Passport holders who pay R1425.00

The fee should be deposited into the following account: FNB Brooklyn, Branch code: 251 345, Account no: 62234925305.  Please fax the proof of payment to 012 342 0940 or 012 342 4539. Please note that no cash will be accepted by the Embassy.
Payment is made after the approval of the visa. Please note that any payments made to the Consular Department  is non-refundable.
The processing time for visas normally takes ten (10) working days

Requirements when applying for a business visa with an ordinary passport:
1.    Valid Passports for at least six months with at least two open pages
2.    Copy of yellow fever vaccinations card
3.    Visa application form completed in duplicate and signed
4.    Two passport sized photographs
5.    Flight itinerary (Not a physical ticket required)
6.    Employment letter
7.    Copy of Passport
8.    Invitation letter

Requirements when applying for a tourist visa with an ordinary passport:
1.    Numbers 1 to 7 above
2.    Hotel booking conformation
3.    Vehicle registration papers if you are driving instead or flying
4.    Country of destination after Sudan should be indicated on the application form together with anticipated date of arrival and departure from Sudan

Requirements when applying for a visa with a diplomatic, official or special passport:
1.    Valid Passports for at least six months with at least two open pages
2.    Copy of yellow fever vaccinations card
3.    Visa application form completed in duplicate and signed
4.    Two passport sized photographs
5.    A Note Verbale submitted to the Embassy for an official visit to Sudan
6.    In case of Diplomatic placement in Sudan, proof of such placement to be submitted.
7.    Exemption from fees

Consular hours for submission are from Monday to Friday 09H00 – 12H00 and collection is from 14H00 – 15H00
The Embassy is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and includes also South African and Sudanese public holidays
