The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has criticized the statement given by the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. before the House of Senate, in which she claimed that the government of Sudan aims to undermine the State of South Sudan and violate the articles of the comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Al-Obeid Maraweh, said in a statement to the press that Clinton's statement was part of the dispute between the US Administration and groups and lobbies that tend to blackmail the US Administration in order to take certain stances against the Sudan.
Ambassador Maraweh said that the American stance gradually surfaces as the elections are coming nearer, expressing his regret to the response of the US Administration to such pressures.
