Government and UN have agreed on fundamental criteria set as basis for international intervention to offering development assistance to Sudan in the period from 2013 to 2016, reported local media Thursday. The areas stipulate for offering assistance are; elimination of severe poverty; governance and rule of law; social coherence and consolidate peace and fruitful peace results. These four fundamental points represents new framework for offering international development assistance for Sudan. This new framework will be signed next May. Minister of international cooperation Ishraga Sayed Moahmoud has expressed pleasure for the pre arrangements set for signing final UN development framework assistance. The minister said she is pleased that national development priorities of the five year plan and the three year economic recover y program have been included in UN framework for development.
