Sudan and South Sudan hold direct Session of Talks

The Sudanese side chaired by the State Minister at the Presidency , Idris Mohamed Abdul Gadir, where ,Mr.Pagan Amum was presided South Sudan delegation at the joint negotiations in Addis Ababa.
Following the second session of the talks that has been held in Addsi Ababa at Sheraton Hotel ,Mr pagan Amum said in a press statement that the two sides agreed to continue the negotiations and they made consultations at the levels of the Heads of the negotiators and chairpersons of the joint political and security committees to discuss all issues.
He noted to the local and international press that" we get out of the session of the talks smiling and as you see we agreed to discuss all pending issues in order to find a solution for the crisis between the two States and our objective to realize the just and lasting peace in the two countries.
The head of the South Sudan delegation has described the sessions that had been held on Sunday evening and Monday morning as positive .
He pointed out that the two sides will hold a third session on Monday evening as well as they are to meet Tuesday morning the mediator for the African Union, Thabo Mbeki, to inform him on what they reached thereto.
